Expressions of Interest : Bands

HONK! Oz 2017 : Thursday January 19th | Friday January 20th | Saturday January 21st

HONK! Oz is a convergence of alternative community street bands.  There are no fancy stages or PA systems. We use the existing infrastructure of the city. HONK! Oz is a volunteer run community festival. Everything is free so there is no income from ticket sales.

We don't pay bands! There are no performance fees, however, we will assist invited bands in finding accommodation for the three nights of the festival.

HONK! Oz is a wind, brass, percussion kind of thing (eg. samba, balkan brass, trad jazz etc).
