HOOT! : a pickup band for unattached (and attached) musicians
If you are a musician attending HONK! Oz Street Music Festival without a band, come and join HOOT! - an all ages festival pickup band with a New Orleans flavour. For intermediate level players and up. Any instrument accepted -preferably accoustic and mobile. Open to the public and completely free!! Local and visiting musicians attending HONK! Oz are invited to participate in this band. Members of other official HONK! Oz 2017 bands are also welcome to join in.
There will be HOOT! workshops and performances from Wednesday Jan 18, 2017 through to Saturday Jan 21 - a more detailed schedule will be posted closer to the date. Don't worry if you can't attend all sessions. Help Ken to keep in touch with you by submitting the contact form below.

PLEASE NOTE: The HOOT! Band will also be convening at the Illawarra Folk Festival (Jan 12-15). If you are attending the folk festival and want to be part of HOOT! at IFF, you can just show up. The HOOT! schedule is listed in IFF Program.
