HONK Oz is a community based festival. The public attends for free and there are no artists fees. HONK! Oz is primarily a wind, brass, percussion kind of thing. The emphasis is on traditional and alternative street band music. Think New Orleans, Samba, Gypsy Brass, etc. A sense of fun, community and a willingness to participate are most important.
