Tech/Equipment Requirements

HONK! Oz is a low tech environment. Please bring all the equipment you need to perform. We supply limited amplification in the Arts Precinct. Elsewhere bands need to be self sufficient. i.e.. completely acoustic, or BYO battery system.

Performance Availability

(The festival officially runs from Thursday 19th Jan, 5pm through to Saturday 21st Jan, 1pm. We need the information below to help construct the performance schedule grid.

Accommodation

We have limited single room dorm style accommodation available - made possible through the fund raising efforts of the local community and a partnership with Weerona College. We need exact numbers as soon as possible. Please note; financial support for single room dorm style accommodation is only available for the THURSDAY night and FRIDAY night.

It may be possible to book additional nights at Weerona College and/or additional beds (for non-band members) at $37.50/bed/night. Please provide detailed requirements here (subject to availability)

Insurance

All performers and bands performing at Honk! Oz Festival of Street Music must accept responsibility for their own insurance, including public liability Insurance. If you don't have cover, we suggest investigating insurance options with Folk Alliance Australia (www.folkalliance.org.au), Duck for Cover (www.duckforcover.com.au) or other insurance provider
